Phil Dunster
After huge roles in some of the biggest films and shows of the last few years such as striker Jamie Tartt in Apple TV’s Emmy award-winning, SAG award-winning hit Ted Lasso (2020 - 2022) and Jamie Cole in ITV’s beautiful comedy-drama The Trouble with Maggie Cole (2020), Phil Dunster has quickly become one of the UK’s leading young actors.
Known for roles in Sky One’s Save Me (2018) and Kenneth Brannagh’s adaptation of Murder on the Orient Express (2017), Phil Dunster played fan favourite Will Jensen in Cinemax’s TV series Strike Back (2017). After nomination at the 2016 Olivier awards in Outstanding Achievement In An Affiliate Theatre for his lead role as Arthur in Pink Mist; the Bristol Old Vic trained actor has been appearing in TV and films in roles ranging from gritty to fantastical.
As well as playing a starring role, Phil was also a producer for Pagma, a stunningly clever short film about finding true love in environment where life partners are algorithmically chosen. The film had an all female Heads of Department team and a BAFTA award winning Director of Photography.
Trained at the prestigious Bristol Old Vic Theatre School after growing a love for theatre at Leighton Park School, he has been picking up momentum and has a number of upcoming roles.
Phil is represented by Sara Puro Steele at Independent Talent.
“He's a stage actor, he's a screen actor. He's a Kray. He's a model. He's a good boy. He's a funny boy. He's a kind boy. He's an award winner. He's a biker. He's a heart throb. He's my nemesis. He's my friend [and] he's my brother”
